ABOUT THOM O’CONNOR
Multiple award-winning senior writer/editor. Professional experience encompasses all aspects of corporate and marketing communications, including annual reports, media relations, speechwriting, public-and community-relations consulting, and Internet/Intranet communications. At present, serve as Executive Director of the Landis Arboretum.
Since moving to the greater capital region from NYC four years ago, I have been involved in the launch of 13 websites throughout New York State, and served as marketing consultant for the Old Stone Fort Museum Complex in Schoharie. I also managed and manned a Tourist Information Booth at Howe Caverns for a group of Schoharie Valley businesses.
Served as Manager, Media Relations for the 13 division American Management Associations, editorial liaison between BellSouth and its former central services organization, Bellcore.
